I have read blogs where things are given away. Some very nice
things. It sounds like a simple thing to do for fun. And I am curious about this whole process so,
I am going to do ' a giveaway' in celebration of....
my 100th blog post.
it is a sunny day
it is the first of September
I am happy
I have family I love
I have friends near and far
I have a home.
There is reason to celebrate.
What should I give away? My heart is given but I will give you
something from the heart.
You need to leave a comment. I do the usual and someone will get a surprise in the mail.
I will post the what & who on Sept. 9th (an important date to me).
(it's a surprise so why would I tell you what it is?)
Yes ! This could be fun.

You are a very nice lady, to offer a give away for your 100th. I have been thinking about doing the same thing on my own blog. Not sure what to give away or when. Good luck.

Celebrating your 100th posting and my first visit. How exciting. Have bookmarked you and will keep a constant check. So much great information. Thanks Gudrun, Isola
ReplyDeleteMy comment is that I am glad to have met you through Learningfa, and our great Challenge group.
ReplyDeleteMaking friends from all over the world is one of the best things about blogging.

I was reading about your wool batting blog and I took a class from Scharon Schamber last year - that is all she uses in her award winning quilts. She maintains that she can quilt it as heavily as she wishes and the quilt remains supple?
ReplyDeleteLove give aways, especially if they are Canadian!
Hi!! We are on the Challenge group together but with some challenges I haven't been around or gotten to know anyone...I just wanted to tell you, I think you are so nice to give this opportunity..I think I'm back now and do so look forward to getting to know you better..Whatever Sept 9th is to you, happy day!! blessings, Skye
ReplyDeleteCongrats on your 100th post. I love reading you on Learning FA. Keep up the blogging.
ReplyDeleteGudrun,
ReplyDeleteYour work on the quilting is amazing. Good luck with your future blogging. This is also a great year for myself and dh, I turned 50 and he turned 60. Isn't life wonderful when shared with love ones and quilting buddies.
Hi Gudrun, What a nice idea for you to reach out to others. I enjoy reading other people's blog but rarely know where to find them. I love the quilt that is posted on your site when it came up. I have been quilting for many years but am not computer savvy enough to do a blog. Congratulations on your 100th blog entry. Gladys
ReplyDeleteHi Gudrun,
ReplyDeleteIt does sound like blogging can be fun! :-) I like the idea of a surprise give away. How nice is that! :-) I love the photos of your quilts. They are beautiful. Interesting story and photos about the spider. It sounds like Charlotte had an important job to do in keeping the flies under control. :-)
Congratulatins on your 100th blog. SherryLee
Gudrun, you obviously have a big heart to encompass the members of the world of quilting. I did not realize the your blog was here but will bookmark it now.
ReplyDeleteKathleen
Congratulations on your 100th! Time sure flies! I love the tidbits of information you post. Although I am not a quilter, I sure appreciate quilts a lot more than I did before you sent me your link! Keep it up!

Congrats on your 100th post! I follow your blog and always find it interesting to see what you are quilting.I love the name of your book Fast and Furious holiday quilting as I find it hard to have lots of concentrated quilting time. Thanks for the opportunity to participate in your give-a-way:)

ReplyDeleteI wish I was an author of a book, but I am not. It's another Gudrun;
Gudrun Erla that you speak of, and she too has a blog.
