Baby Penny

I had a number of friendship star blocks  and I am learning machine applique, I appliqued a Pig.

Why a pig .... 2019  Year of the Pig.

Then Penny was born at the beginning of December and I hurried and got this to her at the beginning of January.

Penny is child # four, she is cousin to my Grands.  I look forward to meeting her...probably when winter is over .

I neglected to take pictures, these were taken by an Uncle.
Her name and birth date are stitched on the quilt.
