Happy Spring

"you said spring starts today"

It won't be long, till we glide again into the blue beyond...just a few weeks.



These photos were taken at 1:00 pm, a few minutes after the CBC announced spring had officially begun on this part of the rock.
Spring is going to have to grab this winter and giver.....

What it looks like now.

On April 6th we had about 8 inches of heavy wet snow. Is it not amazing what happens in just four weeks.  Today, there are daffodils, forget-me-not, cherry blossoms, magnolia blossoms, dandelions, forsythia, bleeding hearts,  & hyacinth.  And that is only the list of what is blooming.  There are also the edibles like garlic chives, onions, and rhubarb.  I made the first two rhubarb cakes of Friday. Yum.
